Smash cakes for a first birthday in Melbourne
A smash cake is a small cake a baby can sit with and pull apart for photos. It is not the cake the adults eat. We bake a plain, softly frosted smash cake in the colour of the party, and a separate box of cupcakes for everyone else.
We bake to order in Narre Warren and hand-deliver on weekdays across the Melbourne suburbs on our delivery list. Order before noon for the next weekday. We do not deliver on weekends, and we do not offer same-day delivery. Tell us the session date. Smash cakes are still cakes, so allow three days.

How a smash cake is different
Keep it small, one or two layers, with frosting that will not stain too darkly if you are worried about clothes. Skip nuts and hard lollies on the baby’s cake. The grown-up cupcakes can be as decorated as you like.
We do not run cake-smash photo sessions. We bake the cake and deliver it.
